We have stayed in the Ronald McDonald house multiple times within the last year. The first time we went everyone was so welcoming & our daughter received a Thirty-One bag filled with goodies. She loved the blankets in them. She wanted to see how many pop tabs she could collect but also wanted to make some blankets. Thanks to our wonderful community we were able to give back. She ended up needing a 7 hour brain surgery so the night before surgery we brought a ton of pop tabs with us. We filled the entire trash can. A week later she was discharged home. So, while she was in recovery and unable to go to school, we made 28 blankets for the Ronald McDonald House and collected more pop tabs, once again with the help of our entire community. We are so thankful for the Ronald McDonald House.
