Special Events Volunteers

Have a Blast and Support a Great Cause by Volunteering at Some of Our Signature Events

We need your help. Over the course of the year, RMHC of Central Ohio runs nine major signature events and is given opportunities to partner with other local fundraisers. By becoming a special event volunteer, you will help raise awareness and funds for the families being served by the mission of our local Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. Please consider how you can help by volunteering at some of our events!

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio is seeking volunteers to keep runners and walkers hydrated during the Columbus half marathon! Volunteers are needed for the 2024 OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon on April 27! Sign up to provide rehydration drinks at Aid Station One, located near Schiller Park in German Village at 1069 Jaeger St, Columbus, OH 43206

RMHC of Central Ohio is partnering with Dirty Franks, a local food vendor inside the Columbus Crew’s Lower.com Field. Volunteers will be working at the Dirty Franks hotdog station May 11 in exchange for a donation to RMHC of Central Ohio. You get a DF t-shirt, hat, and meal while RMHC gets $140 per volunteer as well as a portion of sales from all hot dog boxes!

RMHC of Central Ohio is proud to partner with the organizers of the Columbus Food Truck Festival. Volunteers will be selling tickets, pouring beer and serving drinks on Saturday, August 17 in exchange for a generous donation to RMHC of Central Ohio. Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, free food truck voucher, free parking, and free event entry, and all volunteers must be 21+.
