Buying RMHC Chocolate Bars at Participating Locations Also Helps Families Stay Near Their Children in Area Hospitals
Englefield Oil, a staple in the Ohio convenience store and gasoline marketing business, is fundraising to support the mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio as summer ends and fall begins. They will be working with the organization to support seriously ill children and their families.
Englefield Oil owns and operates Duchess Convenience Stores. From August 25 to November w, they are inviting customers to purchase gasoline at one of the specially branded RMHC pumps at 117 Duchess locations, and they will generously donate 1 cent per gallon from that pump to the nonprofit, up to $40,000.
Customers can make a donation inside participating Duchess locations to support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio.
For more than forty years, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio has been working to provide a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill, hospitalized children. As the organization has grown, so has their need for support from the local community.
“We are truly honored to partner with Englefield Oil for this exciting promotion at Duchess locations,” said Dee Anders, RMHC of Central Ohio CEO and Executive Director. “They have been a great supporter of our mission for many years, and this new campaign will generate substantial funding necessary to operate our growing Ronald McDonald House. I am so excited to see the community stepping up in unique ways to support the families we serve.”
“We are excited to partner with Ronald McDonald House Charities for a new donation campaign in our Duchess Convenience Stores,” said Ashley Englefield DeWitt, vice president of marketing and merchandising for Englefield Oil. “Just like Ronald McDonald House, we serve so many communities and we’re proud to be able to show our support. Our company vision statement is total dedication to our customers, employees, family and community. This partnership further strengthens that commitment.”
