By Jenna Wilson, Family Services Manager

Hi, my name is Jenna Wilson and I have been a Family Services Manager for over 4 years now. I first visited the House with a student organization from OSU. We cooked dinner for the families with Chef Blair and donated blankets for the guests. I was amazed by every aspect of the House and knew that I had to find a way to get more involved. There was an opening on the Family Services team, and I was thrilled to fill that role!

I am originally from Columbus, but grew up in Marietta, Georgia. As a die-hard Buckeye fan, I knew that OSU was the school for me. I pursued a dual degree in Neuroscience and Business, with hopes of applying to medical school someday. Prior to applying, I completed a Master’s degree in Medical Physiology at Case Western in Cleveland, Ohio. I am now in the College of Medicine at OSU with dreams of specializing in pediatric oncology.

While I started out working mostly overnight shifts, I love to switch it up and see what’s going on at all hours of the day. I have learned so much from our incredible staff, volunteers, and families – it is truly such a special place. I will continue working as an FSM on my breaks from school, serving the families in any way that I can. I am so excited for the expansion and promising future at the House!
