On December 11, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Central Ohio welcomed seven new members to the board of directors.
“We are excited to welcome these new board members,” said Dee Anders, CEO and Executive Director of RMHC of Central Ohio. “Each of these remarkable individuals offers unique talents and has already made a tremendous impact at the House. We can’t wait to see what 2025 holds in store for RMHC.”

Erin Gilchrist Rugg, VP of Fleet Evangelism at Intellishift, is returning to the board after a year off due to term limits. She played a critical role in developing the charity’s vehicle donation program, and RMHC is excited to welcome her back.
Owner and Principal Architect of Meyers+Associates Chris Meyers helped design the charity’s recent expansion, earning an award for Best Neighborhood Impact at the 2024 Building Columbus Awards.
“The work of the Ronald McDonald House is truly inspiring,” said Meyers. “By providing vital support and resources to families in need, they are making an immeasurable difference in the lives of so many. I’m honored to join the board and contribute to the organization’s continued growth and impact.”
Stephanie Lorenz, Director of Community Relations & Strategic Partnerships at CAS, has been involved with RMHC for many years through her position at CAS.
“This organization has a special place in my heart,” said Lorenz. “I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to uplift and give back to these families.”
Christopher Vonau of Decker Vonau & Carr began his volunteer experience at the House through RMHC’s young professionals organization, Red Shoe Society. His legal experience will help the charity expand their planned giving program.
Steve Sylvester, Vice President of Health, Safety and Environmental Execution, Fleet Operations at NiScource, is returning to the board after a brief hiatus when he was relocated to Indiana. He played key roles in growing the organization’s vehicle donation program and throughout its first expansion. RMHC is thrilled to have him back in Columbus and on their board.
VP of Finance at Hollywood Casino, Chris Riley, CPA, served on RMHC’s finance committee for several years and supports the House in various ways. Recently, the charity needed help renovating their original rooms, and Riley’s team immediately stepped up to the plate.
