Congratulations to the second-place winner of our competition between area McDonald’s restaurants in our latest Round-Up contest, the McConnelsville location! The crew at this restaurant encouraged nearly 40% of all their customers to Round-Up for Ronald McDonald House Charities in one day! Incredibly, this restaurant came in second place while its sister McDonald’s restaurant in nearby Beverly came in the first place. Both are owned and operated by the Patula Family. Click the image for our spotlight video on the McConnelsville crew and how they made such an accomplishment. You’ll see that one crew member has stayed at our Ronald McDonald House and how it’s a very personal plea when she asks customers to round up.
Central Ohio McDonald’s restaurants and their customers have been amazing supporters of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio through the Round-Up campaign. When crews at these McDonald’s are asking their customers if they want to Round-Up for RMHC to the nearest dollar, they’re helping families stay close to their children in Columbus hospitals. We have numerous Crew members throughout our 125 restaurants in Central Ohio who have stayed at the House and they are our biggest advocates. During a one-day contest called “Show Your Love for RMHC” held on Valentine’s Day this year, the top 5 stores with the largest percentage of Round-Up transactions during the contest were shown some LOVE and are being spotlighted by RMHC of Central Ohio through various media.
