Our Visual Communications Manager is Recognized by Ohio University for Mentorship

Maddie Knostman, the Visual Communication Manager of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio, graduated from Ohio University in 2020. Even after starting her professional career, she has continued to be a part of the Scripps College of Communication by mentoring a visual communication class every spring semester.

Recently, the university and its alumni association shared Maddie’s work with current students through social media posts. These last several months, she has been helping students work on the annual fundraiser, BobcaThon, which takes place this weekend at the university campus. The event is a 12-hour dance marathon aimed at raising funds for Columbus Ronald McDonald House.

This semester, Maddie was impressed with the students’ efforts in designing creative and informative materials to promote BobcaThon. She was on the pink team at BobcaThon when she was a student at Ohio University, so she knows the hard work students put into this annual event.

Maddie urges you to support the current Bobcats in their efforts to raise awareness and funds for RMHC of Central Ohio this weekend. You can donate to a dancer/team here or bid on items in the BobCaThon online auction here.
