Hey y’all! My name is Bailey-Lynn Carroll Jennings/Armstrong. I was born January 28th, 2009, which means I’m officially sixteen! I have the biggest bubbly personality and a pure heart. I may seem shy at first, but once you get to know me, I promise you’ll be laughing and smiling nonstop!
Why RMHC Is Special to Me and My Family
I was born at just 28 weeks gestation. I could NOT wait to come into this world. I spent the next three months in the NICU. Thanks to RMHC, my mom, dad, and family never had to leave my side. Instead, they had a room right next door to the hospital. I am very thankful for that.

I don’t remember that time of my life, but my mommy said that the support from RMHC and the NICU doctors and nurses were all amazing.
I now get the chance to do what I love and raise awareness for a charity that helped me and family. I am very excited to participate in the RMHC Celebrity Steer Show, and I can’t wait to spread the word about this amazing place. I hope to support future families at RMHC, making sure they never have to be apart during some of the most challenging times of their lives.
My Life in the Show Ring
I grew up in Shelby County, Kentucky, the third largest farming county in the state. I have always had a love for livestock (especially cattle) and dogs. I am also a long-time member of the Ohio 4-H community.
For the past nine years, I have been working with, showing, and helping breed and raise our own show cattle. I have learned so much along the way, and I am eager to continue my journey. After college, I would like to continue in the show cattle business and teach kids about how amazing 4-H is. I also hope to travel and go to the beach a lot, and my dream is to show a steer one day in Colorado!
I am very blessed to have a large support system: my mom Michelle Armstrong and stepdad Heath Armstrong, my dad Michael Jennings and stepmom Kaitlyn Jennings. I am truly thankful that all four of my parents are so supportive of this passion of mine. I also have three siblings: Hunter, Magnolia, and Carson.
During the winter I show in a series called “The Ohio Best Series,” and in the spring and summer, I’m busy breaking and training the new calves we’re raising for shows. It’s challenging at times, but it has taught me a lot about responsibility. I also participate in jackpot shows throughout the year and in September I show at my county fair (Fulton County Fair). Our county fair has been named “Best County Fair” in the state of Ohio, and it’s one of the biggest in the state!
Meet Gucci

In 2024, I started my journey with my steer Gucci. He came from King Show Cattle, an incredible farm close to our family’s heart, owned by Larry and Aaron King. They blessed me with Gucci, and I’ve been working with him every day for the last year and a half. It’s been full of hard work, long hours, and plenty of sweat and tears, but it’s all worth it to me. Together, Gucci and I earned 4-H Grand Champion Overall Feeder Calf at the Fulton County Open Steer Show, where showmen from all over the region come to compete!
Gucci was born March 2024. He is very handsome with a big attitude! Sometimes he’s a pain in my butt, but he always shows up for me. I love him. We are more alike than I sometimes want to admit: sassy and goofy. Gucci is definitely very HIGH MAINTENCE, or, as I like to say, bougie. Gucci now weighs around 1,300lbs and has the prettiest, fluffiest black and white hair.
Team Gucci’s Haute Herd

I’m so thankful not just for my family’s support, but also for my amazing teammates and friends: Adam Zaller and Gabrielle Phifer! They push me to compete harder and dream bigger. Together, we’re ready to make a difference.
We are going to ROCK this RMHC Celebrity Steer Show! RMHC, we are here for you and many families to come!
