Meet Marketing & Communications Intern Eva Williford

By Rick Shepherd, Communications Manager

We’re happy to introduce one our two new marketing & communications interns brought to us through the Healthy Homes program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. interns provided though this special program allow high school students to learn what it’s like in the business world as they start making decisions about college. In our case, they get to learn about the non-profit business of charity work. Meet Eva Williford. We asked her to write a simple introduction of herself for our community and below is what she wrote.

My name is Eva Williford and I am 16 years old. I am entering my senior year of high school at Harvest Preparatory School in Canal Winchester, Ohio. My favorite hobbies are cheer, tennis and reviewing social media. After high school, I plan on attending college and majoring in Marketing. This summer, I am a participant in the Healthy Neighborhood Healthy Families Youth Employment Program, and I was placed at the Ronald McDonald House from my internship. My first impression of the “House”was that it was much larger than I thought and the number of people that volunteer only to give back to the community was very touching to see. I am excited for this summer and glad to be here and a part of the team.

Welcome Eva!
