Back-to-School Looks Different for Every Child. You Can Help Make It Brighter.
Back-to-school season is here, and, for many RMHC families, it looks a little different. While most kids are picking out backpacks and riding the bus from home, some are learning from their Ronald McDonald House room or making up missed schoolwork between doctors’ appointments.
This August, we invite you to start a routine that gives back. While one single gift makes a significant impact, a recurring gift can make a lasting one. Just $10 a month can provide the countless services that keep our guests safe and comfortable during their most uncomfortable times. By becoming a monthly donor, you’ll help ensure families far from home still have stability, support, and comfort as the school year begins.

Omario, a young boy from Jamaica with Hirschsprung's disease, had never gone to school until he came to the Ronald McDonald House. Here, he met new friends, learned to read, and found his place in a world far from home. Now, he is back home in Jamaica, attending school in his hometown for the first time.

Scarlett has been able to keep up with her schoolwork by connecting online, despite being far from her home in Australia. Her favorite places to learn are outside on the patio or in the Zoo room. Over the past three months, Ronald McDonald House has been a home-away-from-home for Scarlett and her family.
