Family Champions are current or former guest families who choose to share their RMHC experience to support our mission. By joining, you become part of a community of advocates helping to support the Ronald McDonald House and its mission.
There is no pressure and no required commitment. You choose how and when you participate.
You pick what feels right for your family:
Speak at Events
Share your story at RMHC celebrations, donor events, or volunteer gatherings.
Provide a Written Story
Submit a testimonial and photos to help bring our mission to life in communications like email appeals, newsletters, or social media.
Join a Video Story
Participate in a short filmed interview (2–3 minutes) or submit your own video.
No matter how you share, we will support you through the process.
By sharing your story, you help:
Show the true impact of RMHC to the community
Inspire volunteers and donors to get involved
Strengthen the future of the House that supported you
Stay connected long after your stay ends
Family Champions also receive periodic updates, recognition, and special opportunities to engage with RMHC Central Ohio.

We respect every family’s comfort level. You choose what you share and sign media permissions only when you are ready. Personal health information is protected and never shared without explicit consent.
