Your donation makes a difference. Your support keeps families close.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio and Charity Clothing Pickup have entered into a fundraising agreement where Charity Clothing Pickup covers all operational costs—including labor, trucks, rent, insurance, and other expenses—in exchange for the opportunity to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio. In return, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio sells donated clothing to Charity Clothing Pickup at a flat wholesale rate of $66 per cart of clothing donated.

We accept clothing and accessories for men, women, and children in all seasons and styles, including shirts, pants, skirts, dresses, shoes, hats, purses, belts, jackets, ties, socks, pajamas, swimsuits, sweaters, coats, scarves, suits, and gloves. We also accept household textiles such as towels, sheets, table linens, bedding, and curtains. Essentially, if it’s clothing, a wearable accessory, or a textile, we can accept it.

All donated items are collected and sorted at our warehouse. Usable items are sold in bulk to thrift stores across the United States, while other items are recycled. Proceeds from these bulk sales provide funding to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio, allowing the organization to focus its energy and resources on furthering its mission.

If you’ve accidentally donated a valuable item, please contact us as soon as possible at 636.282.0000 or submit a request through our contact form. It’s important to reach out within 24 hours whenever possible, as our warehouse ships items daily and they become difficult to track once they leave the facility. When you contact us, please provide as much detail as possible about the item and the bin location to help us assist you more effectively.

Donating is easy! Simply prepare your items and drop them off at any of our donation bins. While not required, the following steps can be helpful:

  1. Check all pockets

  2. Wash clothes if possible

  3. Keep pairs of shoes together in the same bag to prevent separation during transit

  4. Place items in suitable containers such as plastic garbage bags, unwanted totes, baskets, or boxes
