Everything you need to feel supported during your stay at the Ronald McDonald House

Whether you're preparing for your stay or are already here, this page is designed just for you. We've gathered everything you might need—from arrival info and meal schedules to therapy dog visits and transportation tips—all in one convenient place. Our goal is to make your time at the House as comfortable and stress-free as possible, so you can focus on what matters most: your child’s 
health and healing.

TIPS FOR YOUR STAY

  • There is a maximum occupancy of 4 people checked into the House per room.
  • The Ronald McDonald House does not have housekeeping services. There is a laundry room in the basement where families can wash their clothes/sheets if needed. Laundry soap is free for families and can be requested at the front desk.
  • Upon your checkout, you can help us get your room ready for the next family by placing all dirty laundry in a pile on the floor at the end of the beds, wiping down the surfaces in your bathroom, and taking out the trash. 

  • Help keep the kitchens clean by placing your rinsed dishes in the dish racks and cleaning up after yourself.
  • Kitchens are open for families to use from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Kitchens are closed overnight for cleaning.
  • Label all personal food with name, date and room number that you place in the kitchen or guest fridges.
  • Please do not store breast milk or medication in the guest refrigerators (see Family Services for an alternative solution).
  • Please sign in at the front desk daily.
  • Smoking (including vaping and marijuana), drugs and alcohol are not permitted anywhere in the House; and will result in immediate dismissal.
  • All guests are expected to be involved in the care of the ill child.
  • All children under the age of 18 must remain with a parent or guardian at all times.
  • Checkout is within 2 hours of discharge or appointment completion.
  • Please help keep all common areas clean and free of clutter.
