By Dee Anders, CEO and Executive Director of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio
All across the country college basketball fans are rooting for their teams, cheering them on the sidelines or at home. Here at the Ronald McDonald House in Columbus, Ohio, we are always cheering for The Ohio State University Buckeyes. Coach Thad Matta has once again gone the extra mile and selected Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Central Ohio as his charity of choice for the ESPN Infiniti Coaches’ Charity Challenge for the fourth year. Coach Matta understands and lives out the importance of family in his everyday life, so he wants to help provide the gift of togetherness for families of seriously ill children.
The ball is in your court, Ohio State fans. We need your help! Coach Matta has won the contest three times, providing $300,000 to our local Ronald McDonald House. To win the contest and $100,000 for the fourth time is going to take a community-wide effort. Please vote everyday through March 13th at VoteCoachMatta.com.
With the love and support of you, #BuckeyeNation, we can bring the $100,000 grand prize back to Columbus, home of The Ohio State University, one of the largest universities in the country and home of the world’s largest Ronald McDonald House.
Together we can make this a slam dunk effort and make a difference for families of seriously ill children. Vote everyday through March 13th at VoteCoachMatta.com.
