Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio is a home-away-from-home for families of hospitalized children. Families travel from all over the world to be treated by some of the best doctors, right here in Central Ohio.
The reality of having a child sick in the hospital can be incredibly overwhelming to parents and siblings. What the Ronald McDonald House is able to provide these families with is a bit of stability in the midst of unthinkable circumstances. When a child is hospitalized, the comfort of having family nearby is beyond measure. It is this heartfelt purpose that both drives and defines RMHC of Central Ohio.

The Spread Sunshine Campaign was created to help bring a bit of light within the Columbus Ronald McDonald House, to encourage and brighten the days of our guest families. For the whole month of August, we are asking our supporters to make a donation and bring light to the House.
Right now, many families are getting ready to head back to school and wrapping up their summer vacations. But imagine being hundreds of miles away from your home during this time of year. The Ronald McDonald House is open 365 days a year, so many families stay with us during big milestones and holidays. People rely on our House for comfort, safety, relaxation, hope, and light.
Help spread sunshine to our families that will be missing first day of school pictures, summer vacation trips, and so much more. You are able to leave your name as well as a message of encouragement that can be shared on your donated sun that will be on display in the House.
