Benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio at the Ohio Expo Center & State Fair
The Dean’s Charity Steer Show is an annual event that takes place at the Ohio State Fair and features local celebrities working alongside 4-H Youth to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio. The event, which is now in its fourth year, has generated more than half a million dollars for the local RMHC Chapter. Teams consist of local celebrities, media personalities, and young people who have raised the steer. Teams work together throughout the year to generate donations from the community to support their team. Prizes are awarded for many categories, including top fundraiser, showmanship, and best overall team.
The mission of the Dean’s Charity Steer Show is to raise awareness for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio, The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, 4-H and the 4-H Foundation. The event is a fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio.
