At the Steer Show, teams will consist of a Team Captain, Team Media Partner, experienced 4-H youth, and a steer in the show ring.
All proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Central Ohio. The Steer Show is an annual event coordinated by RMHC, Telhio Credit Union, Ohio Cattlemen’s Association, and the Ohio State Fair.
During the Steer Show, there will be a “sale” following the same procedures as a typical livestock sale, but without the actual transfer of livestock.
Instead, all buyer sale proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio.

Bryson Cartwright
Bryson Cartwright is 10 years old from Wapakoneta in Auglaize County. He attends Botkins Elementary School and is a third-year member of the Auglaize County Show Stoppers 4-H Club, as well as a third-year participant in the BEST Program. Cartwright enjoys showing cattle and spending time at NASCAR races cheering on his favorite driver, Kyle Larson. When he’s not at the track or in the show ring, he stays busy racing go-karts and helping on the family farm with his Gee and Paw, where they raise cattle, produce grain, and operate a commercial hog operation.
Dan Mueller
Dan Mueller is the Senior Vice President of Tax at American Electric Power Company in Columbus, OH. Dan’s responsibilities at AEP include oversight of enterprise-wide federal, state, and local tax planning, compliance, audit and accounting functions. Dan holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from The Ohio State University and is a licensed CPA in the state of Ohio. Dan serves on the executive committee and the board of directors for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio. Dan is originally from a small farming community in mid-west Ohio and has connections dating back nearly 3 decades to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Dan currently resides in Grandview Heights with his wife and three children.
Rodney Dunigan
Rodney is an accomplished journalist and evening managing editor/anchor at WSYX ABC 6, where he leads impactful, accountability-focused reporting and anchors multiple nightly newscasts. With a career spanning markets like Tampa, Memphis, and Nashville, he has earned numerous Emmy and Associated Press awards and been recognized for his leadership through programs like Sinclair’s Emerging Leaders. Beyond the newsroom, Rodney is deeply committed to community service and youth mentorship, while also staying active as a marathon runner and dedicated father
Natalee Eichorn
Natalee Eichorn is 17 years old from Lexington in Morrow County. She attends Northmor High School, where she is actively involved in Northmor FFA and the Northmor National Honor Society. Eichorn is a member of the Grass Roots and Boots 4-H Club and serves as a Community Youth Group Leader, as well as on the Ohio Maine-Anjou/Chianina Junior Board of Directors. She enjoys helping and coaching younger showmen, sharing her passion for agriculture and leadership with others in her community.
Adam Zaller
Adam Zaller brings over 20 years of HR leadership experience, currently serving at Cardinal Health where he leads global HR services. Deeply committed to community service, Adam has served on the boards of Catholic Social Services and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio, where he chairs the strategy and mobile care committees. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, a good beach walk with his wife Kara and Cleveland sports with his two sons Ethan and Ryan.
Gabrielle Phifer
NBC4 Reporter and Fill-In host for Columbus Living. Before coming to NBC4, Gabrielle was the morning reporter for WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She began her career in Arkansas as bureau chief, reporter and fill-in anchor at KTVE/KARD. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Arkansas and a Master of Science in journalism from Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism.
Paisley McIntire
Paisley McIntire is 12 years old from Marysville in Union County. She attends Creekview Intermediate school where she is in 6th grade. McIntire is a member of the Shadow Riders 4-H Club, where she participates in many community service projects around her hometown.Showing cattle is what McIntire loves to do most. When she isn’t at a show, she is always in the barn working, fitting, or washing her cattle. Her steer this year is her best friend, and you can often find her just hanging out in his pen.
Sal Carfagna
Born and raised in Columbus, OH, “Sal” is part of a 4th Generation Family Business at Carfagna’s Incorporated. Sal is the General Manager of Carfagna’s Market & Ristorante, the Director of Marketing and Advertising, and leads the company in Operations Management. Sal and his wife Abigail reside in Westerville, Ohio with their three Children. Sal loves to garden and cook, especially when their children lend a helping hand.
Katie McKee
Katie McKee is a morning anchor on Good Day Columbus, appearing from 5–10 a.m. and co-hosting the 9 a.m. lifestyle hour. She joined the station in 2017 and spent eight years as a traffic anchor before moving to the desk. Originally from Springfield, Ohio, she returned to the state after reporting roles across the Southeast, including in South Carolina and Florida. During her career, she has covered major events such as the Pulse nightclub shooting and Hurricane Matthew.
Bristol Tipton
Bristol Tipton is a 16-year-old from Harrison County who is proudly homeschooled and deeply rooted in her agricultural lifestyle. As a fourth-generation member of her family’s farm, she carries on a strong tradition of hard work and dedication. Titpon is actively involved in 4-H and participates in rodeos, where she showcases both her skills and passion for the rural way of life. She breeds and raises all of her own show calves, demonstrating responsibility, knowledge, and commitment to her craft.
Don Jones
Don Jones was appointed by the Trump Administration in 2025 to serve as Ohio State Executive Director for the USDA Farm Service Agency. Before joining the USDA, he represented Ohio in the state legislature, where he chaired the House Agriculture Committee and served on several key committees. A longtime educator and farmer, Jones spent 23 years as an agricultural education teacher and FFA advisor and helped build his family’s farm equipment dealership, which serves producers across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Deeply involved in his community, he has held numerous leadership roles and has volunteered as an EMT and firefighter for more than three decades. Jones and his wife, Amy, live on their family farm in Freeport, Ohio, where they raise cattle and hay with their two daughters.
Collin Dorsey
Collin Dorsey is an anchor with 10TV. Growing up in southern Illinois, he has deep ties to the ag industry. Now he calls Ohio home and enjoys exploring everything the Buckeye State has to offer. Collin is also a private pilot and animal lover.
Coy Ellington
Coy Ellington is an 11-year-old from Louisville, Ohio, in Stark County, where he attends East Canton Schools. He is actively involved in livestock judging, baseball, football, and cattle shows. Ellington enjoys spending time on the farm, where he takes pride in managing his small cow herd alongside his best companion, his corgi pup, Millie.
Chris Meyers
Christopher Meyers, FAIA, founded Meyers+Associates with a focus on mentorship, collaboration, and designing spaces that strengthen communities. Under his leadership, the firm earned AIA Ohio’s Gold Medal Firm Award for its culture and commitment to community engagement. Chris has led projects across nonprofit, higher education, hospitality, and multifamily sectors while championing a human-centered approach to design. A dedicated advocate for service, he has supported numerous organizations through pro bono work and serves on the board of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio. He is also a nationally recognized speaker on mentorship and practice management, presenting for AIA, NCARB, ULI, and other organizations.
Alexa Maslowski
Alexa Maslowski is an anchor for Your Morning on Spectrum News 1. Originally from Cleveland, she has spent most of her life in the Buckeye State and remains connected to its communities. Alexa is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and uses her platform to help foster open and authentic conversations. She lives with her husband, Cody, and their dogs Olive and Pepper.
Alexis May
Alexis is 17 years old from Leesburg in Fayette County. She attends the Ohio Virtual Academy, a homeschool program. May is actively involved in 4-H, photography club, cooking club, Fellowship of Christian Students, the Fayette County Junior Cattlemen’s Association, and the OCA BEST Program. She is known for being hardworking and caring, and she enjoys staying involved in activities that allow her to grow and give back to her community.
Steve Sylvester
Steve Sylvester is a leader at Columbia Gas of Ohio, overseeing Health, Safety, Environmental Execution, and Fleet Operations across multiple states. Raised in the farming communities of Delaware County and now living in Lancaster, he’s passed his agricultural roots on to his three children, who showed animals at the Fairfield County Fair. Steve remains deeply committed to community service and supporting youth development in agriculture.
Kyle Beachy
Kyle Beachy is the Anchor and Producer for NBC4’s News @ Nine. He graduated from Ohio State University in 2017 with a master’s degree from the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences with a specialization in organizational leadership. After graduating, he taught communications at Ohio State as an associate faculty member. Kyle grew up on a dairy farm in Kokomo, Indiana, where he was raised an avid sports fan. You can often find him cheering on the Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds, and Indianapolis Colts.
Kimber Cook
Kimber Cook is a 13-year-old 4-H member from Ashville in Pickaway County, Ohio. She attends Logan Elm Middle School, where she is actively involved in both academics and extracurricular activities.Cook is a member of the Madison Livewires 4-H Club and Logan Elm Middle School FFA. She is also part of the Pickaway County Livestock Judging Team. She is very active in athletics as well, participating in Logan Elm Volleyball, Logan Elm Track, and club volleyball with the Lady Blue Knights. She recently completed cheerleading for Logan Elm Basketball. Cook has a strong dedication to showing livestock and has competed in the Southern Ohio Showdown Series, attending every show, as well as the Best Show Series, where she also attended every show. Her commitment, work ethic, and passion for agriculture are evident in everything she does. She is honored to have been selected to participate in the Ronald McDonald Celebrity Steer Show at the Ohio State Fair and is excited for the opportunity to represent youth in agriculture.
Adele Flynn
Adele Flynn is a farmer, agricultural advocate, and community leader from Wellington, Ohio, who serves as Treasurer of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation and the Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation. Alongside her husband, Eric, she operates a diversified family farm and partners in a cash grain operation producing crops across 1,100 acres. Adele has held leadership roles with organizations including Centerra Co-op, the Ohio Soybean Council, and the American Soybean Association’s WISHH Committee, and she spent nearly 15 years in agricultural lending before returning to farming full time. A dedicated supporter of youth and agriculture, she serves as a 4-H advisor and is raising three children with the same values that guide her business and community service.
Ty Higgins
Ty Higgins grew up on his family’s dairy farm in Licking County. He started his career as a farm broadcaster as he studied at THE Ohio State University. After over a decade in country radio in Columbus, he found his way back to agriculture as a journalist and communication specialist at the Ohio Farm Bureau and began his role as General Manager for the Ohio Ag Net and Ohio’s Country Journal last year. He is a proud spokesperson for Ohio agriculture and passionate advocate for farmers across the state.
Kennadie Porter
Kennadie Porter is 15 years old and is from Muskingum County. She is the daughter of Kyle and Kelly Porter of Norwich and will be a sophomore this fall at John Glenn High School. Kennadie has been a dedicated member of the Zane Trace Riders 4-H Club for the past eight years, where she has developed a passion for agriculture and the livestock industry through exhibiting cattle. Outside of the show ring, Kennadie enjoys staying active year-round. She can often be found on the soccer field competing with her team or hitting the ski slopes during the winter months. Through her involvement in 4-H, athletics, and other activities, she has built strong leadership skills, responsibility, and a commitment to hard work.

Matt Ference is a Senior Director of Business Development focused on strategic growth and relationship-building across Central Ohio. Known for his commitment to sustainable development and client success, he has played a key role in advancing projects that strengthen communities. Beyond his professional work, Matt is deeply dedicated to philanthropy and community engagement, supporting organizations that provide comfort and care to families in need. His involvement with events such as the Ronald McDonald House Steer Show reflects his passion for bringing people together to make a lasting impact.
Chuck Ringwalt
Since coming to Ohio in 2018, Chuck discovered a passion for understanding where our food comes from and the people who grow it. Chuck produces and hosts Spectrum News’s Ag Report, a weekly segment featuring agriculture expert Andy Vance. Topics have included trade tensions, adverse weather conditions and an ever-evolving industry. Chuck also shares the personal stories of farmers throughout the state.
Bryson Jones
Bryson Jones, 14, of Harrod in Allen County, is an active student at Allen East Middle School with a passion for sports, the outdoors and agriculture. He enjoys playing football, spending time on the golf course and fishing whenever he gets the chance. Bryson loves being involved in all things 4-H and values the opportunities the organization provides to learn new skills, build friendships and develop leadership abilities. Whether he’s competing, volunteering or simply enjoying time with fellow members, Bryson embraces every aspect of the 4-H experience and looks forward to continuing his involvement for years to come.

Sidney Skinner
Sydney Skinner is 17 years old and calls Waterford, Ohio, in Washington County, home. She attends Fort Frye High School and is also enrolled at Washington State College of Ohio. An active member of 4-H, Sydney enjoys exhibiting beef cattle and market lambs while continuing to grow her knowledge and skills in the livestock industry. Sydney is pursuing an accounting degree and looks forward to building a career in the field while staying connected to the livestock industry

Best Steer
Judges will evaluate the quality of the steer by appraising its conformation including muscularity, eye-appeal and balance, structural correctness, and finish or overall body condition.
Showmanship
For the showmanship award, judges will evaluate based on presentation of the steer including the skill, ability, and appearance of the team.
People’s Choice
Spectators will vote for their favorite team by cheering at the event. Make sure you invite your supporters to join us at the show!
