The 37th Annual RMHC Joe Mortellaro Golf Classic, presented by Encova, is the largest charity golf outing in Central Ohio! This event has become one of the largest annual and longest running fundraisers for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio. Golfers play on three premier courses in the Dublin area. All golfers are invited to join celebrity sports figures for the exclusive dinner, presented by Grange Insurance, immediately following the RMHC Golf Classic at Wedgewood Country Club where the special guests will talk about their favorite sport, and guests can enjoy a silent and live auction, raffle, and heavy appetizers.
The Golf Classic started off as a community fundraiser created by one of our McDonald’s Owner/ Operators in Mount Vernon and has grown into the large event it is today. It brings participants together to support the charity and raise awareness for the work that the organization does for families. Many sponsors choose to bring their corporate clients to this event; this allows participants to be exposed to our organization in a way that they might not have previously. We have seen many attendees expand their involvement to include returned attendance, sponsorship, and donations.
