This event is fun for the entire family and is meant to teach kids about philanthropy and the game of golf. Get your friends and family together for a fun afternoon at Topgolf Columbus on Sunday, October 15th. Each team may consist of up to six participants of any age or skill level; we just ask that each team be accompanied by at least one adult. This year’s event will include a delicious lunch buffet, Ronald McDonald House guest family speaker, fun prizes, and a great time for the whole family! There will also be a silent auction and raffle filled with exciting packages that the whole family will love.
We encourage each team to raise a minimum of $600 for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio. Your fundraising efforts are kicked off with your $100 entry fee donation. That will leave you with just $500 left to collect from your supporters for participation. Don’t worry…we will provide you with a fundraising page and resources as well as incentives as you reach your goals! While this is a fun, family-friendly event, there is a competitive aspect in regards to the fundraising efforts. At the end of the event, we will award the top three fundraising teams with prizes!
This event brings families together to support other families! Through peer-to-peer fundraising efforts, families are able to gather support from their friends and family to spread awareness while raising funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio. Through these fundraising efforts via social media, in-person soliciting, and other creative initiatives, this event has an impressive reach to the Columbus community. The Family Golf event also teaches children about the importance of philanthropy and helping others, at an early age.
Please note that whoever completes the team registration will automatically be assigned the role of Team Captain.
